money sucks... still.
Yeah, I'm working more now, but the debt is bigger now.
It does that, it gets bigger. That's how they get you.

other than that, life is pretty good.
Camp is great and I've got some hours lined up for the Fall and Spring.
Dunno how many hours, but some, at least. I should ask about that
tomorrow, so I know whether to find another job for nights or whatever...

If the hours work, I might even be able to work the Woonsocket ASDC.

Camp is freakin' great.
I'll go into it in detail at some point... but lemme sum it up this way:

at orientation Bill said: "we're not going to need all the new staff the first two weeks, so you're not working"
later that day Bill said: "I want you the first week to be a one-on-one counselor"
1st day of camp Bill said: "The camper you were going to be with isn't here, go with the CIT/LIT program"
4th day of camp Bill said: "The CIT/LIT director likes you and wants you to stay there to work with them"
today Bill said: "There are too many LITs. We're going to split them into two groups and you're going to be in charge of one of them"

Woot.
Big Woot.
Wootie McWootWoot.

I finished my list... and now here I sit at my Parents' house.
I suppose I should call Steve to see if he's done my car yet.
Phone's busy.

Today, I'm supposed to go have dinner with Mark.
wee. Dinner with Mark... maybe I can get him to pay :)

Phone's still busy.

Maybe I can set up a page for the Bedford house today before I get my car.

Life is so busy, I have no time to think.

last night, as I was falling asleep, I was running through all the things I have to do today in my head... and I had such little faith in me remembering them that I actually got a pen and paper and made a list ... as well as a checklist of supplies I'd need to accomplish everything. I've got about half of them done now.

Money is tight. I need strings and I need my amp repaired/replaced...
and I'm so tight that I'm gonna work for four hours on Saturday night instead of playing a gig.
That's desperation, right there.

While at the training for camp last night, I ran into Rob Martinelle.
How freaky is that? I worked with him for years in Southbridge/Charlton/Sturbridge...
and now he's working for one of the Ys that are affiliated with mine.

Well, I should get my last check from the Woon Y today...
I should go do that and figure out my finances for the rest of the week.

and so begins the last week I can sleep through the mornings...
except maybe tomorrow morning, when the gas company comes to read the meter.
Though, I don't even know where that is, so I might as well sleep in.

Next week camp starts...
this week, there are three night-time orientation/trainings and one on Saturday.
So far, we've had one training... yesterday... it was good. Nice staff.
Should be a really good summer!

Still in debt. But it doesn't bother me every day.
thinking of getting a phone where I can turn the ringer off....
